八氧化三铀制备
在空气中将四价铀的硝酸盐、草酸盐、过氧化物、三铀酸盐等加热到700~800℃时,都可制得氧化铀(V,VI)。
制法 取精制的三铀酸铵置于大蒸发皿中,在空气中加热至约800℃ 1~2小时,则盐将完全分解而制得粉末状的氧化铀(V,VI)。在此制备实验中温度是关键因素。如果加热至300~500℃时,盐几乎全部分解而转化为氧化物β-UO3(若加热过氧化物,则生成α-UO3或UO2.9,若是硝酸盐则生成β或γ-UO3)。如果在800℃以上长时间加热,则会逐渐失去氧而转变为非整比组成的U3O8-x,所以必须注意控制好热分解时的温度条件。
