硫酸铈(IV)制备

1.将分析纯硝酸铈铵溶解于热水中,使含量约为15%,滤去不溶物,在滤液中加入密度为0.91的分析纯氨
水,至不再有氢氧化铈沉淀析出:

过滤后, 用热水洗涤沉淀数次, 经常搅拌沉淀, 至洗涤水中不含NO3-。不断搅拌下向沉淀中加入密度为1.84的硫酸和水的混合物[ 硫酸∶水=1∶1 ( 体积) ] ,在水浴上加热:

当氢氧化铈全部溶解,停止加热,滤去不溶物,滤液蒸发浓缩至出现大量结晶体,然后冷却,抽滤后用冰水洗涤3~4次,抽干后,摊薄,并于25~30℃下干燥至不粘玻棒,即得分析纯结晶硫酸铈。
