主要采用四氯化碳与氟化氢液相接触法，甲烷氟氯化法生产。液相接触法以五氯化锑为催化剂，四氯化碳和无水氟化氢反应生成一氟三氯甲烷和二氟二氯甲烷，副产盐酸。反应产物除去氯化氢，经洗涤，脱水，脱气，分馏而得成品。
