Product uses

1. Dicyandiamide is used as the raw material of guanidine salt and melamine, which can react with acid to make various guanidine salts. Benzocyanine diamine obtained by the reaction of dicyandiamide and phenylnitrile is an intermediate of coatings, laminates and molding powders.

2. Dicyandiamide resin prepared by the reaction of dicyandiamide and formaldehyde can be used as dye fixing agent.

3. Dicyandiamide fertilizer: Dicyandiamide compound fertilizer can control the activity of nitrifying bacteria, adjust the transformation speed of nitrogen fertilizer in the soil, reduce the loss of nitrogen, and improve the use efficiency of fertilizer.

4. As a fine chemical intermediate, it is used to prepare guanidine nitrate and sulfonamides in medicine. It is also used to prepare thiourea, nitrocellulose stabilizer, rubber vulcanization accelerator, steel surface hardener, artificial leather filler, adhesive, and so on. 5-azacytosine, a pharmaceutical intermediate, can be obtained by the reaction of dicyandiamide with formic acid. As a nitrogen source, carbon materials are doped with nitrogen.

5. Used as a latent curing agent of epoxy resin adhesive to prepare one-component epoxy adhesive.
