Main purpose
This product is an intermediate of quaternary ammonium salt cationic surfactant. Used as an important intermediate for synthesizing vitamin E
Used for preparing fiber detergents, fabric softeners, asphalt emulsifiers, dye oil additives, metal rust inhibitors, anti-static agents, etc.
Production method
Dodecyl alcohol and dimethylamine undergo liquid-phase catalytic amination at atmospheric pressure and 180-120 ℃ to remove one molecule of water, resulting in crude tertiary amine. The high-purity product of dodecylamine is obtained through vacuum distillation.
