Shandong Haihua Liwei New Material Co., Ltd ( formerly Shandong Haihua Group potassium sulfate plant) is a comprehensive utilization enterprise of bittern resources as a supporting enterprise of Shandong Haihua Group Yangkou Salt Plant. Annual production capacity of the plant: Potassium Sulphate 20,000MT, Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate (Flakes, Granule type) 100,000MT and Refined Salt 24,000 MT.

The production process of the plant is unique in China and has reached the international advanced level which has won the Third prize of National Science and Technology Invention Award, Second Prize of China Light Industry Federation, Second Prize of Shandong Economic and Trade Commission and has obtained the national key new product potassium sulfate certificate.

The plant has strong technical force, standardized production management, complete testing means and and stable product quality. Production of Potassium sulfate and magnesium chloride production have obtained ISO9001:2000 international quality system certification and ISO14001 environmental management system certification. The magnesium chloride has won the Magnesium Chloride Superior Certificate issued by China Magnesite & Material Association. Potassium sulfate and magnesium chloride are evaluated as National Stable Quality Qualified Products by China Quality Inspection Association and has obtained both the certificate and the bronze medal of the title. In March, 2017, magnesium chloride has got the admission certificate of China Magnesite & Material Association.

The plant ranks in the leading position in the industry in China in the comprehensive utilization of bitter brine resources. "Hailei brand" potassium sulfate and magnesium chloride are the only products made of underground brine as raw materials in China.
