To a well-stirred solution of 73 g (0.35 mol) of IV in 750 mL of CH2C12 at room temperature under N2 was added a slurry of 72 g (0.37 mol, 85% quality) of m- chloroperbenzoic acid in 700 mL of CH2C12.
