2-Arylamino-6-methylnicotinic Acid Alkylamides (V-XIII). A solution of 0.01 mole of the 2- chloro-6-methylnicotinic acid alkylamide and 0.01 mole of the arylamine in 20 ml of 50% acetic acid was boiled for 6 h, cooled, and neutralized with a 10% solution of sodium hydroxide.
