摘要

The synthesis of 6, 7-dihydro-2H-pyrimido [6, Iu] isoquinolin-4 (3H)-ones and of analogous compounds is described. These compounds are powerful phosphodiesterase inhibitors and, therefore, inhibit blood-platelet aggregation independent of the agonist. They exhibit, too, cardiac activities. However, there is evidence for selective action. A structure-activity relationship for platelet-aggregation inhibitors is discussed.
