Discussion The planarity condition calculations shown in Table VI1 were used in calculating molecular structure parameters of C2B5H6F, which are compared with those of the parent C2B5H7 structure in Table VIII. It is seen that slight increases in bond lengths occur upon fluorination at the B5 site. The B,-B7 distance is 0.013 A larger in the fluoro derivative.
