Abstract: Reactive nucleophiles such as C6FsSLi and CF3SLi readily attack cis-SF4 (OCF3) 2, SF5CI, CF3SF4C1, and cis-CF3SF4CF3 to form (RF)~ S~ and (RF)~ S~(RF= C6F5, CF3) plus CF20, RFSCI, CF3CI, and CF4, respectively. With CsFsLi, cis-SF4 (0CF3) 2 yields (C~ FS)~ SF~,(C6F5) 2SO, C6F6, and CF20; SFsCl gives (C~ FS)~ SO and C6Fs; CF3SF4CI forms (C6F5) 2s, C6F6, and CF3C1; and cis-CF3SF4CF3 produces CF3SF2CF3 and ...
