Results Tables IV and V summarize the data on anticonvulsant activity obtained for the compounds prepared. N-Phenacylimidazole (42; log P= 1.03) and the corresponding alcohol, namely, N-(P-phenyl-6-hydroxyethy1) imidazole (47; log P= 0.99), showed no anticonvulsant activity.
