摘要

N-Acetoxyarylamines have been proposed as reactive metabolites of carcinogenic aromatic amines. As a model compound to investigate the synthesis and spectral characteristics of these proposed intermediates, stable crystalline N-acetoxy-2, 4-dinitrophenylamine (5) was prepared on condensation of 0-acetylhydroxylamine with 2, 4-dinitrofluorobenzene.
