摘要

In 1960, Brochere and Polonsky reported the isolation and characterization of a new C25 terpene acid called gascardic acid from Gascardia madagascariensis. I Preliminary data suggested that this substance represented a new structural class of the rare Czs sesterterpenes. Among the known sesterterpenes, the ophiobolane class (1) has over the years proven to
