The new compounds 0-pivaloyl-, 0-(p-nitrobenzoy1)-, and 0-(m-chlorobenzoy1) hydroxylamine as well as t'he previously prepared 0-acetyl-, 0-benzoyl-, and 0- mesitoglhydroxylamines have been prepared in order to study their behavior with various nucleophiles.
