将10g金属铋慢慢加入到20mL浓硝酸中,使其全部溶解。这一步也可用硝酸来溶解三氧化二铋Bi2O3。往溶液中加入15mL浓硫酸,加热浓缩即可生成无色沉淀。在250~300℃的温度下进一步加热并蒸发至干,加热至最后重量不再减少为止。此时即获得硫酸铋的结晶。另外,直接将三氧化二铋Bi2O3溶于热的浓硫酸也可制得硫酸铋。
