1.反应装置为一带滴液漏斗的圆底烧瓶。将115g新升华的SeO2放入烧瓶中,并加入500mL浓盐酸(36%~37%)使其溶解,再加入235g硒,然后从滴液漏斗中滴入浓硫酸,直至不再有HCl气体发生为止。反应生成的红色的Se2Cl2沉在反应器的底部,冷却后用分液漏斗将其分离出来。用浓硫酸将反应产物洗涤数次,或将其溶于发烟硫酸中,然后通HCl将其析出。产物中存在残余硫酸可用无水BaCl2处理后,在隔绝外界湿气的条件下用玻璃砂芯漏斗过滤。收率可达90%左右。

2.反应装置为一带气体导入管的蒸馏烧瓶,气体导入管插至瓶底,烧瓶上接一下降的冷凝管并与接受瓶相联,从接受瓶上引出一气体导出管,经一装有酸的洗涤瓶后直接通到通风橱的排气管中。将300g发烟硫酸(含30%SO3)装入蒸馏瓶中,在摇动下将100g粉末状的硒加入其中。将干燥的HCl气体通入反应混合物中,并小心地加热蒸馏瓶,使硒刚刚开始挥发。不久接受瓶中就开始有Se2Cl2滴下。调节蒸馏速度,使其在2h内约馏出130g产物。粗产品可用少量发烟硫酸与其混合摇荡数次,至不再呈绿色为止。最后与制法1一样用无水BaCl2进行处理。
