3-叔丁基-5-巯基-1，2，4-三唑是由三甲基乙酰氯和氨基硫脲为原料制得。
在2000L反应釜中加入144 kg 95％氨基硫脲、1050kg四氢呋喃和203 kg 95％三甲基乙酰氯，在搅拌下于40℃以下加入165kg 30％氢氧化钠，加完后保温4h，边升温边加入20％氢氧化钠600kg，然后在80℃下蒸出四氢呋喃，并保温4h，降温，在20℃以下加450kg 30%盐酸酸化，过滤得到三氮唑。
