Abstract

Abstract Treatment of a-chloroacylhydrazones of diary1 and certain aralkyl and dialkyl ketones with sodium hydride in anhydrous tetrahydrofuran gives 1-(disubstituted methylene)- 3-oxo-1, 2-diazetidinium inner salts (ylides).
