Abstract

The NMR spectra of a wide variety of substi- tuted isoquinoline derivatives have been extensively reported,'-' largely owing to the abundance of isoquinoline alkaloids and their vaned biological activities9 In the course of our medicinal research, we had occasion to synthesize fifteen new iso- quinoline derivatives which are reported here. ...
