Abstract

Rare earth intermetallic compounds (alloys) such as LaNiS, PrCo5, and SmCo5 absorb large quantities of hydrogen rapidly and reversibly under mild conditions of temperature and pressure, and they are used as convenient hydrogen storage substances.'
