Abstract: The stepwise addition of diborane to diethyl ether solutions of N-alkyl-substituted lithium amides (LiNHR, R= CH3, CzHs, n-C3H7, iC, H?, n-C4Hg, sec-CaH9, tertGH9, and n- C5H11; LiNR2', R'= CH3, C2H5, n-C3H7, and i-C3H7) at room temperature has been studied.
