Abstract

The catalytic dehydrogenation of various amine− borane adducts using a heterogeneous, skeletal Ni metal catalyst at 20° C has been demonstrated. The cyclic oligomer [MeNH− BH2] 3 was obtained from the catalytic dehydrogenation of MeNH2· BH3, whereas high molecular weight poly (methylaminoborane) was accessible using stoichiometric amounts of catalyst.
