The addition reactions of α-ferrocenylcarbenes (ferrocenyl, ferrocenylmethyl, and ferrocenylphenyl carbene) to 1, 1-diphenylethylene have been examined by means of the thermal decomposition of the corresponding acylferrocene tosylhydrazone sodium salts.
