Abstract

The synthesis and characterization is reported of six 2, 5-distyryl-heteroarylenes (BXB compounds) and 1, 4-bis {2-(heteroaryl-2-yl) ethenyl} benzenes (XBX compounds) containing the thienyl, furanyl or N-methylpyrryl as the heteroarylene moiety.
