In Vitro | Anti-melanoma agent 1 (Compound 5m) (0-100 μM, 48 h) shows antiproliferative activity against melanoma cells[1]. Anti-melanoma agent 1 (0-10 μM) inhibits colony formation in SK-MEL-28[1]. Anti-melanoma agent 1 (1 and 2 μM) induces cell apoptosis (24 h), arrests cell cycle at G2/M phase (12 h), inhibits cell migration (48 h) and disrupts the cellular microtubule network[1]. Cell Proliferation Assay[1] Cell Line: SK-MEL-5, SK-MEL-28 and A375 Concentration: 0-100 μM Incubation Time: 48 h Result: Showed antiproliferative activity with IC50 values of 3.70 ± 0.17, 3.30 ± 0.06 and 1.98 ± 0.10 μM against SK-MEL-5, SK-MEL-28 and A375 cells, respectively. Apoptosis Analysis[1] Cell Line: SK-MEL-28 Concentration: 1 μM and 2 μM Incubation Time: 24 h Result: Induced cell apoptosis.
