In Vitro | Villocarine A exhibited excellent activity during the initial stage, within 10-30 min after injection, with potent vasorelaxant effects observed at 30 μM against PE-mediated contraction in a rat aorta. Villocarine A exhibited a moderate level of inhibition at 30 μM against PE and 1 μM-induced contraction of the aortic rings in the presence of nicardipine (1 μM) in a Ca2+-free medium[2]. |
