DQn-1 is a potent antifolate with activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) (MIC90=0.03 µM). DQn-1 directly inhibits DHFR enzyme activity, with IC50s of 8.7 and 7.6 nM for Mtb and human DHFR enzyme, respectively[1].
