Abstract

Different methods for the preparation of the aforementioned compounds have been described such as from 4,4′-diaminodiphenylmethanes and amines, 8 by condensation of amines and anilines in acid medium 9 or using zeolites 10 and also by oxidative coupling of anilines with metal catalyst 11 or clay-mediated microwave-assisted chemistry from N,N-disubstituted anilines, in which DTMs are obtained in low to modest yields. 12 Most of these protocols, ...
