Abstract

Flfteen a,a-disubstituted phenylacetonitriles and twenty-four a,a-disubstituted 1-naphthylacetonitriles were prepared for comparative pharmacological screening, The naphthalene derivatives appear to be more interesting than the corresponding benzene compounds, in the light of the over-all pharmacological picture.
