Abstract

Summary The preparation of the D-and L-arabinose phenylosazones has been improved and it is found that the pure substances melt about ten degrees higher than has been reported previottsly. The D-, L-and qL-arabinose phenylosotriazoles and their corresponding triacetates and tribenzoates are described.
