Abstract

Ammonium dithiocarbamate and 2-bromo-1-tetralone reacted to give 4, 5-dihydronaphtho [1, 2] thiazole-2-thiol. Seventeen derivatives of this thiazolethiol were prepared. Three interesting results encountered were:(1) the reaction of cyanuric chloride with sodium dimethyldithiocarbamate or dimethylammonium dimethyldithiocarbamate gave 2- dimethylamino-4, 6-bis-(dimethylthiocarbamoylthio)-S-triazine and 2-dimethylamino-4, 6- ...
