Abstract

Summary The four ethyl derivatives of diborane and mono-n-propyldiborane and di-n- propyldiborane have been prepared by reactions of boron triethyl and of boron tri-n-propyl with diborane. The compounds are shown to be entirely analogous to the corresponding methyl derivatives of diborane.
