Abstract

New chiral (0-aminoalkyl) phosphines, RCH (NMe2) CH2PPh2 [R= Me (Alaphos), i-Bu (Leuphos), PhCH2 (Phephos), i-Pr (Valphos), see-Bu (Ilephos), Ph (PhGlyphos), c-Hex (ChGlyphos), and t-Bu (t-Leuphos)], were prepared by starting with optically active amino acids.
