Abstract

A series of m-bis (glycoloylamino) benzene derivatives was synthesized by treatment of the corresponding m-diaminobenzene derivatives with glycoloyl chloride derivatives in pyridine. Hydrolysis of acetyl compounds gave hydroxy derivatives, from which other acyl derivatives could be synthesized.
