Abstract

The decarboxylative cross-coupling reactions between haloACHTUNGTRENNUNGarene and arene carboxylic acid have emerged as an exciting alternative to the traditional cross- couplings for the construction of biaryls.[1, 2] The strategy allows overcoming the intrinsic disadvantages of cross-coupling reactions, such as the necessity of employing an organometallic reagent (ArÀM) and the generation of stoichiometric amounts of salts (MÀX ...
