Abstract Perfluoroalkyl perfluoroalkanesulfonates RF SO 3 R′ F (RF, R′ F CF 3, C 2 F 5) and perfluoroalkyl perfluoroalkanepyrosulfonates RF SO 3 SO 3 RF, mixed with perfluoroalkanesulfonic acids (CF 3 SO 3 H or C 2 F 5 SO 3 H) decompose thermally.
