Abstract

Concentrated HzS04, 0" C. Claisen alkali, A. 4-FC6H4Br, CuzBrZ, Na2C03, N-methyl-2- pyrrolidinone, A. Br (CH2), R4, DMF, TEA.'CH2= CHR4, CH, OH, H', A.[2, 3, 4, 9-tetrahydro-2- [2-(2-quinolinyl) ethyl]-1H-pyrido-[3, 4-b] indole](la), demonstrated comparable activity to that of clozapine and 3 times the activity of rimcazole in the conditioned avoidance (CAR) test.
