Abstract
In the preceding communication,'a new heterocyclic ring system, 1, 3, 4, 6-tetrathiapentalene (abbreviated thiapen) was prepared as a 2, 5-bis (dialkyliminium) salt by reacting a dialkylcarbamate with methyl dichloroacetate, followed by cyclization in acid.
