Abstract

Two protic alkylimidazolium polyoxometalates, together with two corresponding aprotic N- methyl-alkylimidazolium polyoxometalates were synthesized and characterized by the methods of NMR, IR and TGAetc. Then, these salts were employed as catalysts for the epoxidation of cyclooctene in different media.
