Abstract
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the stereoselective pain relieving (antiallodynic) activity, antiallodynic–anticonvulsant correlation, teratogenicity and pharmacokinetic profile of two stereoisomers of valnoctamide (VCD), a CNS-active amide derivative of a chiral isomer of valproic acid (VPA).
