Abstract

A novel series of hybrid l-ascorbic acid (vitamin C) phosphodiesters linked at the C-2 hydroxyl group with other biologically active substances, namely myo-inositol, arbutin, 4- hydroxy-l-proline, and glycolic acid were synthesized, and their thermal stability and reducing activity against free radicals were estimated in vitro.
