Abstract

3-Amino-2, 5-dimethylpyrazine.-7.2 grams of 2, 5-dimethylpyrazine was dissolved in 17 cc. of dimethylanilbe, 11 g. of sodium amide was added and the reaction mixture heated to 165" in an oil-bath for two hours.
