Abstract
The derivatives of aryl- and aroylthioureas are of certain interest as potential antiinflammatory agents [1 – 3]. In con- tinuation of the previous investigation [4], we have synthe- sized a series of new derivatives of arylthiourea and aroylthiourea by the scheme ... I: X = 2-Cl (a), 2-Br (b), 2-I (c), 4-NO2 (d); II: X = 2-Cl, Y = H (a), X = H, Y = 4-NO2; III: Y = 4-Cl (a, d, e), 4-NO2 (b, c); R = 4-antipyrinyl (a, b), SO3H (c, d), 1,3,4-triazolyl (e); IV: C5H4N = 3-pyridinyl.
