4-乙烯基吡啶制备

1.由4-甲基吡啶与甲醛反应生成4-吡啶乙醇,然后脱水而得。反应式如下:

上述工艺是国外目前工业上主要采用的工艺方法,如日本广荣化学工业公司。
向三口搪瓷反应器中加入4-甲基吡啶3720kg,多聚甲醛304kg,苯甲酸61kg,蒸馏水180kg,在常压下加热回流60h,开始时沸腾温度在105℃,结束时沸腾温度可在120℃以上。先在减压下蒸出未反应的4- 甲基吡啶,然后在13.3KPa减压下蒸出全部未反应的4- 甲基吡啶,可得粗吡啶乙醇498kg。催化剂苯甲酸在回收的甲基吡啶中,共得回收液 ( 水、甲基吡啶、苯甲酸、甲醛)3750kg。然后添加4-甲基吡啶385kg,多聚甲醛110kg,进行第二次反应。依此进行8次反应,共得吡啶乙醇4000kg,消耗4-甲基吡啶3800kg、多聚甲醛310kg,产率95%。吡啶乙醇脱水操作工序:将40%~50%的工业氢氧化钠水溶液100kg放入三口反应釜中,加入0.1kg亚甲基蓝,升温到140~190℃,抽真空到 (600~700) ×133.3Pa,开始滴加含有0.1%亚甲基蓝的吡啶乙醇,乙烯吡啶与水立即被蒸馏出来,迅速冷却到室温,并加入0.1%亚甲基蓝,加入5% ( 质量分数)固体工业氢氧化钠,静置24h,溶液即分为两层。上层为乙烯吡啶,加入0.1%亚甲基蓝进行减压精馏,沸点必须在50℃以下,以免产生聚合反应,向纯4-乙烯基吡啶中加入0.1%亚甲基蓝,以防聚合,可以放置一年以上,产率在80%以上。
