4-乙基吡啶制备

1.由吡啶与乙酐在锌粉存在下反应而得。

2.吡啶与乙酸酐反应能生成二乙酰基联吡啶，经加热转位，锌粉还原后，用溶剂萃取、蒸馏精制可得纯品。

3.制法：

于装有搅拌器、温度计、回流冷凝器、滴液漏斗的3L反应瓶中，加入醋酸酐1500mL，用氯化钙干燥过的吡啶(2)300g（3.8mol），于3h内分批加入锌粉^①300g(4.6mol),每次加入15～20g。反应放热，水浴冷却，保持瓶内温度在25～30℃之间。反应液逐渐变成绿色。加完后再加入醋酸300mL，再分批加入锌粉120g(1.85mol),反应放热，回流30min。第三次再加入锌粉180g(2.75mol),回流1.5h，反应液呈橙色。将反应液转入5L反应瓶中，加入40%的氢氧化钠溶液2L，水蒸汽蒸馏。馏出物用固体氯化钠饱和，分出橘红色有机层，水层用氯仿提取。合并有机层与氯仿提取液，先蒸出氯仿、吡啶和水，减压蒸馏，收集145～165℃/0.1MPa的馏分。再重新分馏，收集163～167℃/0.1MPa的馏分，得4-乙基吡啶^②(1)145g,收率35%。注：①锌粉使用前可先进行活化：将830g锌粉置于300mL(10%)的盐酸中搅拌2min，过滤，水洗，再用200mL丙酮洗涤即可。②得到的最终产物为4-乙基吡啶，但中间经历了中间体(3)和（4）。
