可作为特殊的头香香料,微量用于花香配方,如紫丁香、白兰、茉莉、紫罗兰、金合欢、葵花、甜豆花、梅花、橙花等中。香皂中亦可用之。还可作为食用香料用于杏仁、浆果、奶油、樱桃、椰子、杏子、桃子、大胡桃、大李子、香荚兰豆、辛香等香精中。酒用香精如朗姆、白兰地等型中也用之。
【用途四】
苯甲醛是除草剂野燕枯、植物生长调节剂抗倒胺的中间体。
【用途五】
GB 2760--1996规定为暂时允许使用的食用香料。主要用于配制杏仁、樱桃、桃子、果仁等型香精,用量可达40%。作为糖水樱桃罐头的赋香剂,加入量每kg糖水3ml。
【用途六】
医药、染料、香料的中间体。用于生产间氧基苯甲醛、月桂酸、月桂醛、品绿、苯甲酸苄酯、苄叉苯胺、苄叉丙酮等。用以调合皂用香精、食用香精等。
【用途七】
有机合成, 溶剂, 测定臭氧及位于羰基旁边的亚甲基,检定酚和生物碱,香料制备。

苯甲醛制备

苯甲醛广泛存在于植物中,特别是在蔷薇科植物中,主要以苷的形式存在于植物的茎皮,叶或种子中,例如苦杏仁中的苦杏仁苷。苯甲醛的工业生产方法主要有两大类:分别以甲苯和苯为原料。实验室制备还可采用催化(钯/硫酸钡)还原苯甲酰氯的方法。 1.甲苯氯化再水解法 以甲苯为原料,在光照下进行氯化,得混合氯苄。原料消耗定额:甲苯1700kg/t、氯气3000kg/t、纯碱1500kg/t。 2.苯甲醇氧化法 氯苄水解得苯甲醇,再经氧化得苯甲醛。 3.甲苯直接氧化法 苯甲醛是甲苯氧化制苯甲酸的中间产物。甲苯→苯甲醇→苯甲醛→苯甲酸。 4.以苯为原料 在加压和三氯化铝作用下,苯与一氧化碳和氯化氢反应得。工业品苯甲醛的含量在98.5%以上。 其制备方法是以甲苯为原料,在光照下进行氯化得混合氯苄(含C 6H 5CH 2Cl,C 6H 5CHCl 2,C 6H 5CCl 3),将混合氯苄投入反应釜内,加入少量的氧化锌、磷酸锌混合物催化剂,于125~135℃向搪瓷釜内滴加水,反应随即开始,约10h水加完,反应完毕,在65℃加入纯碱中和,将中和液在水解锅内用纯碱进行水解,回流8h,当油层含侧链氯<0.1%时反应结束,进行水蒸气蒸馏,苯甲醛随水蒸出,进行分层、精馏得产品。 5. 甲苯氯化可得α, α ′- 二氯甲苯,再水解便得到苯甲醛: 然后用乙醚萃取,在蒸除乙醚后用亚硫酸氢钠加成精制即可。为制备色谱纯苯甲醛,可以氮气为载气,在装有SE30/ 白色硅烷化硅藻土担体固定相柱的制备气相色谱仪上注入其粗品,经分离收集其主峰组分,然后装入玻璃安瓿瓶密封即可。 5. 烟草:BU,56;OR,57;BU,14;FC,9, 18;BU,OR,18;FC,BU,OR,40。 6.制法: 于装有磁力搅拌器、回流冷凝器、温度计的反应瓶中,加入2,3-二甲基-2-丁基硼烷的THF溶液22.5mL(25mmol),冷至-20℃(CCl4加干冰)。剧烈搅拌下慢慢将5mmol苯甲酸(2)溶于2.5mLTHF并冷至-20℃的溶液加入反应瓶中。10min后,加热回流。在不同的时间取样分析,使生产的醛与2,4-二硝基苯肼反应生成相应的腙,根据腙的量计算醛的收率。12h时收率70%;24h时82%;36h时保持不变。[1]

7.制法:

于装有回流冷凝器(顶部装氯化钙干燥管)、通气导管的已经称重的反应瓶中,加入干燥的甲苯(2)46g(0.5mol),加热至沸。光照下慢慢通入干燥的氯气,直至质量增加39g,而且沸腾温度达到187℃时为止,得到粗品a,a-二氯甲苯(3)。将化合物(3)转移至1.5L反应瓶中,加入500mL水及碳酸钙150g,回流反应4h,同时通入二氧化碳气体以防止生成的苯甲醛氧化。反应结束后,进行水蒸汽蒸馏,直至无油状物馏出。将馏出液用乙醚提取三次,合并乙醚层。蒸出乙醚后得粗品苯甲醛。向粗品苯甲醛中慢慢分批加入饱和亚硫酸氢钠溶液,每一次加入后充分摇动。当有结晶性沉淀析出并无苯甲醛的气味时,抽滤。滤饼用乙醚洗涤。将结晶加入过量的碳酸钠溶液中,充分摇动,使苯甲醛游离出来。乙醚提取三次。合并乙醚层,依次用碳酸钠溶液、水洗涤,氯化钙干燥。蒸出乙醚后进行分馏,收集178~180℃的馏分,得苯甲醛(1)36g,收率70%(以甲苯计)。注:①反应液中含有苯甲酸。将热溶液过滤后用盐酸酸化,冷却,可得到片状苯甲酸,mp121℃。
