同于混合稀土氯化物。可用来制备金属钕。
1.Nd2O3在石英皿中溶于盐酸(盐酸预处理:使用石英冷凝器蒸馏),所得溶液在古氏Pt坩埚中用离心排水设备结晶三次,真空保干器中干燥,浓硫酸作为干燥剂。中间如果是用0℃的HCl气体通过石英管处理所得溶液,则产率会比较高。
2.含水氯化物装在硬质玻璃管中的石英舟里,用减压装置(维持水银柱高25cm)以1cm3/s的速度通入纯净、干燥的HCl气体,在70℃温度下维持3h,逐步升高温度到160℃,维持1~2h,然后慢慢升温到250℃,趁热打开炉子,转移石英管到保干器(浓硫酸做干燥剂)中,冷却。最后将产物转移到热的、干燥的试剂瓶中,迅速密封即可。
