烯丙基缩水甘油醚的制法主要可分为两种。第一种方法是用烯丙醇和环氧氯丙烷为原料,在路易斯酸(H2SO4,BF3·Et2O,HClO4等)的作用下,开环加成得中间体,然后中间体在碱溶液(NaOH溶液等)的作用下脱除HCl闭环而得到产物。反应式如下:
第二种方法是相转移催化法。它是以烯丙醇和环氧氯丙烷为原料,在氢氧化钠溶液和相转移催化剂的作用下反应直接生成烯丙基缩水甘油醚。反应式如下:
