【用途一】
用作合成橡胶、合成树脂、合成纤维、增塑剂和乳胶漆等的原料
【用途二】
丁二烯是生产合成橡胶(丁苯橡胶、顺丁橡胶、丁腈橡胶、氯丁橡胶)的主要原料。随着苯乙烯塑料的发展,利用苯乙烯与丁二烯共聚,生产各种用途广泛的树脂(如ABS树脂、SBS树脂、BS树脂、MBS树脂),使丁二烯在树脂生产中逐渐占有重要地位。此外,丁二烯尚用于生产乙叉降冰片烯(乙丙橡胶第三单体)、1,4-丁二醇(工程塑料)、己二腈(尼龙66单体)、环丁砜、蒽醌、四氢呋喃等等。因而也是重要的基础化工原料。丁二烯在精细化学品生产中也有很多用处。以丁二烯为原料制取的精细化学品。主要有以下几个方面。(1)与缺电子嗜双烯化合物发生狄尔斯-阿尔德反应,制得蒽醌,其衍生物是重要染料中间体、杀菌剂和杀虫剂。(2)与顺丁烯二酸酐(简称顺酐)反应,进而缩合,制得四氢苯酐,可作聚酯树酯、环氧树脂的固化剂和增塑剂。四氢苯酐再经硝酸氧化,可得丁烷四羧酸,是制造水溶性漆的原料。同样四氢苯酐加氢制得六氢苯二甲酸酐,可用作为环氧树脂的固化剂。(3)与二氧化硫作用,生成环丁烯砜,然后配制成水溶液在骨架镍催化剂存在下加氢,制得环丁砜,是芳烃萃取用的选择性溶剂。环丁砜和二异丙醇胺的混合物可用脱二氧化碳气体用。(4)丁二烯的线型调聚反应在工业上很有用处。线型二聚后得到八碳直链烯烃,再经醛化、加氢即得壬醇,在合成香料、表面活性剂、润滑油添加剂方面都有重要用途。用钴络合物作催化剂,其二聚、三聚、四聚体,都是合成高级醇和大环麝香的原料。

丁二烯制备

1.乙醇法 以乙醇为原料,以氧化镁二氧化硅为主催化剂,加入活性添加剂,在360~370℃下,催化脱氢和脱水,生成丁二烯。 

2.抽提法 乙烯裂解装置副产C4馏分,用溶剂抽提法提取丁二烯,依采用的溶剂不同,可分为乙腈抽提法和犖,N-二甲基甲酰胺抽提法。(1)乙腈抽提法 以乙腈为萃取剂。将乙烯裂解装置副产的C4馏分送入丁二烯萃取精馏塔,顶部加入乙腈,丁烯及少量丁烷从塔顶排出;丁二烯、炔烃和乙腈进入第一解吸塔,乙腈被解吸出来,并返回萃取精馏塔。丁二烯和炔烃进入第二萃取塔,塔顶加入乙腈,丁二烯从塔顶出来,进入水洗塔,再经精馏脱水得聚合级丁二烯。(2)N,N-二甲基甲酰胺抽提法 以犖,N-二甲基甲酰胺为萃取剂。C4馏分二次萃取,二次精馏,制取合格的丁二烯产品。第一次萃取脱除比丁二烯难溶于犖,N-二甲基甲酰胺的杂质,如丁烯、丁烷;第二次萃取脱除比丁二烯易溶于N,N-二甲基甲酰胺的杂质,如乙烯基乙炔。第一次精馏脱除比丁二烯轻的组分,如甲基乙炔;第二次精馏脱除比丁二烯重的组分,如顺2-丁烯、1,2-丁二烯、C5馏分及高沸点物,最后得到99.5%以上的1,3-丁二烯成品。

3.由石油气体大量制备,即由丁烯或丁烯-丁烷混合物催化脱氢,也可通过裂解石脑油和轻油直接得到。
